Advanced Data Analysis II (SOC9035)
Course on the modelling of latent structures in the social sciences. The core sequence moves from exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis to path analysis and structural equation models (SEM). It also covers open science, reproducible research and complex survey analysis in R.
Data Description and Visualisation (SOC09124)
Introductory course on thinking with data from a sociological perspective. It covers descriptive statistics, data wrangling and visualisation in R, moving from univariate analysis to basic bivariate methods, with an emphasis on substantive interpretation and visualisation as a form of argument.
Advanced Data Analysis I (SOC8224)

Introduction to statistical modelling in the social sciences. The course progresses from simple linear regression to logistic regression, cluster analysis and an introduction to factor analysis, with an emphasis on substantive interpretation and model diagnostics in R.
Thesis Supervision (Seminario de Grado)
I serve as thesis advisor in the final-year research seminars (Seminario de Grado I and II) of the Sociology programme at UDP (2024, 2026), guiding students through the design and development of original empirical research for their BA in Sociology.
Social Surveys for Diverse Contexts (PUC)

Survey methodology course at the Institute of Sociology, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, beginning in the second semester of 2026. Covers the principles of survey research — total survey error, questionnaire design and evaluation, sampling and complex designs, ethics and data quality — through the analysis of Chile’s main household and establishment surveys, with case studies and problem-based learning.
